Preparatory documents
Reference
Before the in my own words translation of a passage is written, a preparation is made: how classical and modern commentators read those verses differently is examined, and each reading is made concrete with a story. Only then is the in my own words translation written. This section is that preparation itself.
These documents are not exegesis; each one states clearly which view is confirmed by how many sources, and what could not be confirmed.
